The WELCOME project presents an innovative 3D WebGL application that offers an immersive and highly interactive experience that places trainees directly into realistic hotel reception scenarios. The WELCOME platform offers also an assessment tool were the receptionist avatar is controlled by the trainee, while the visitor avatar is managed in real time by a trainer.

The Certification Scheme for NEXT LEVEL RECEPTIONIST is intended for the certification of receptionists who want to grant an additional qualification through certification. This Certification Scheme contains principles, requirements, criteria, and the process for the certification of NEXT LEVEL RECEPTIONIST. Every receptionist that fulfills the criteria as described in the current scheme can apply for the certification and after passing the assessment can get certified.

The “WELCOME Assessment (Replication) Guide” serves as a structured roadmap for implementing the “Next Level Receptionist” certification process, an initiative within the WELCOME project aimed at empowering and enhancing the skills of frontline personnel in the hospitality sector. Developed in response to the evolving demands of the tourism and hospitality industry, the guide provides a detailed framework for executing scenario-based training that combines immersive, practical learning with internationally recognized certification standards.
